Yamada Seiyu - Grilled white sesame paste
Essential to Asian cuisine: this ingredient adds texture and flavor to many Far Eastern recipes. This traditional sesame paste is slowly made using a stone mill, resulting in a particularly fine and aromatic paste. These are the same mills used for matcha tea. The sesame is therefore not heated (temperature below 30 degrees Celsius) and retains its powerful aroma without becoming bitter.
